Hours: Flexible 20–24 hours per month (approx. 3–5 hours per week)

About Us

Digital Seniors is a registered charity on a mission to bridge the digital divide. We provide high-quality, one-on-one coaching to help seniors aged 65+ navigate the digital world with confidence. Our community hubs are lifelines, fostering connection and empowerment. We are a collaborative team driven by a shared kaupapa, and we need a detail-oriented professional to keep our engine running smoothly.

The Role

As our Finance and HR Administrator, you will be the backbone of our day-to-day operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will ensure our financial health and team support are second to none.

You will provide:

  • Financial Wizardry: Managing Accounts Payable/Receivable and bank reconciliations using Xero.
  • Budget Stewardship: Administering grant and funder budgets, expenses, and donation reconciliations.
  • Payroll & HR Support: Handling fortnightly payroll and leave management via Thank-you Payroll.
  • Insightful Reporting: Preparing monthly finance and cashflow reports for our Board and Finance Sub-Committee.

What You Bring to the Table

We are looking for a proactive, independent worker who thrives in a collaborative, remote environment.

Your toolkit should include:

  • Software Savvy: Proficiency in Xero is essential, and experience with Thank-you Payroll is a major plus.
  • Financial Expertise: Experience with grant funding applications and reporting will be highly regarded.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written skills for preparing clear, accurate board reports.
  • Heart: A genuine interest in improving outcomes for older people in our communities.
