About the role

MDNZ is on the cusp of growth, and the Fundraising Manager will be a key player in making this happen. Working closely with the General Manager, you will lead fundraising success at MDNZ.

MDNZ has existing Grants and Individual Giving programmes with potential to be developed further. The Fundraising Manager will drive the growth of these existing programmes as well as develop new fundraising opportunities and income.

 

What you bring:

Essential Skills:

  • You will be a fundraiser with proven experience in developing and growing fundraising programmes and income.
  • Strategic thinking and an ability to seek out and implement opportunities.
  • You will have a learning and inquisitive mindset
  • You will be organised, logical and able to independently manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining excellent relationships with donors and external partners.  
  • You will be articulate, have strong interpersonal skills, and be a positive team contributor.
  • You will be a champion for ethical and best fundraising practice.

 Ideal Skills:

  • Proven experience in proposal writing and copy writing.
  • Proven experience in Individual Giving Programmes
  • Database and CX experience
  • Experience in Communications such as media and marketing
