The Baptist National Support Centre is looking for our next Operations Advisor to lead our church support team in areas of policy development, process management, and internal operational systems. This role also leads the administration within the National Support Centre.
About us
Our church support team works with 240+ Baptist churches and organisations around Aotearoa New Zealand, providing advice, resources, training, and compliance support in the areas of employment, health and safety, property, administration, finance, and more.
About you
You have a relational approach with internal and external stakeholders and can effectively weave together different perspectives for collective impact. You have a strong understanding of policy development and can manage our policy framework, review cycles, and support governance subcommittees with policy development. You are comfortable working closely with our IT team to build and deploy internal operational systems to improve our effectiveness in supporting local churches. You have a strong understanding of process management, as we seek to embed annual rhythms and continual improvement. You have strong alignment with the overall purposes of our organisation.
Hours and location
This role is 25 – 30 hours per week (negotiable), based at our office in Greenlane, Auckland.
