We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated Client & Admin Coordinator to join our close-knit and fast paced team. 

Experience in client coordination and administration is essential and training is provided. 

The role will be full-time, employed 40 hours per week, in our Onehunga office.

At Dance & Arts Therapy NZ (DTNZ) we believe that with creativity and collaboration, together we can support and empower vulnerable communities. We use the powerful modalities of the Arts and Dance Movement to bring connection, nurturing, and growth to people with disabilities, children without access to the arts, and people living with trauma. We provide group and individual programmes across New Zealand, with a small admin team working with a 50-strong therapy team.

In this role you will be our client and admin superstar, coordinating all things client and admin related which includes supporting our core team with the day-to-day running of our programmes, funding, marketing and everything in between!

You will coordinate our individual and group client placements and assist with the smooth running of our office systems. Duties will include (and not limited to) responding to all client enquiries (including our ACC SCS clients), bookings, managing our client management platforms, social media/marketing, calendar bookings and ensuring the office is stocked with stationary and supplies. There will also be the potential to work on market research, fundraising, and other opportunities. 

We particularly welcome applications with lived experience of disability, neurodiversity, experience engaging with Maōri or Pasifika communities, or with diverse life experience. This is a fast paced position with a lot of variety so you must be adaptable and able to work under pressure (we are not kidding!).

About you:

The successful applicant will need to be super organised, focused, a quick thinker and be able to use their initiative to work independently. We require someone who can manage their time effectively, multitasking many different components. The key capabilities and experience we are looking for are:

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills 

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft packages particularly word and excel

  • Extremely computer literate and confident with technology including social media

  • Experience with Google Drive, Xero and Wordpress are essential, and a bonus if you have knowledge of Infoodle, Enrolmy, Trello and design software such as Canva

  • Confident, empathetic approach when dealing with a diverse range of clients needs and culturally sensitive

  • Passionate about making a difference in our community

  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work from home or office. 

  • Experience working with different databases or systems would be an advantage.
