Salary: $65,222 - $74,116 + superannuation

The role | Te tūnga  

Reporting to the Senior Manager - People Operations & Data, your focus is to support our busy P&C functions including recruitment, advisory and payroll teams to provide seamless coordination services and support. You'll have input to developing our business processes and build strong relationships with our advisors and People Leaders across the organisation. 

The key focus of this role is to become our team's Recruitment system expert, providing seamless support across Recruitment processes, including advisory and payroll workflows. You'll take ownership of recruitment administrative tasks including interview bookings, pre-employment checks, offer process and onboarding, administer critical tools like SharePoint, and serve as the trusted first point of contact for recruitment enquiries. With a strong emphasis on building relationships across the organisation, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to projects, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a career as an HR generalist or specialist. 

This role would suit someone who can bring:  

  • Recent and relevant Recruitment and HR coordination experience. 
  • Experience advising and supporting applicants, people, and managers on recruitment process and HR best practice. 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 tools and systems i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and use of or ability to learn other tools i.e. OneNote, Planner, Teams, Bookings etc. 
  • Experience connecting people with information, resources, and advisors to solve queries and issues relating to recruitment and HR. 
  • Experience proofing documentation, creating content for templates, email, print and online communications, recording and distribution of meeting notes and actions 
  • Agile in thinking and working, comfortable working in both a non-structured and structured way including flexible by default working. 
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and uncertainty especially in times of change. 
  • Efficient and effective planning and prioritising of work to meet deadlines and ability to negotiate conflicting requirements on your time. 
  • Demonstrate mātauranga Māori, understanding of tikanga, and applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi in a work setting. 
  • Demonstrate a willingness to upskill and increase your cultural capability
