Voluntary Environment-Conservation

Job Description

Help out and get up-skilled in organic gardening. Get involved in seasonal activities for a deeper understanding of food production. Learning opportunities include seed sowing and collection; propagation; growing veges and herbs; managing a pollinator garden; and pruning an established food forest. Learn how to build healthy, deep soil on tricky west Auckland clay! Bring gloves, sturdy shoes and sharp secateurs if you have a pair. Depending on weather please bring gumboots/raincoat or hat/sunscreen. Bring own lunch and water.

Fridays 11am-2pm. RSVP for location details.

Please remember the golden rule - if you are sick stay home

We love our volunteers. If you fancy being part of an indispensable team of like-minded superheroes, get in touch! Our trusty tribe of volunteers come from all backgrounds and from all over the city (and the world!) and would love to meet you.
