Join us to learn about regenerative gardening, while helping to make Hope Community Garden in New Lynn a flourishing community space. We'll be preparing the garden beds and composting bays, tending to seedlings and making it a beautiful space for learning, sharing and recreation opportunities.

Gardening gloves recommended. May require gumboots and wet weather gear on rainy days. Hat and sunblock in spring and summer. Bring own lunch and water.

RSVP for times/dates and location details.

Please remember the golden rules - stay home if you are sick.

We love our volunteers. If you fancy being part of an indispensable team of like-minded superheroes, get in touch! Our trusty tribe of volunteers come from all backgrounds and from all over the city (and the world!) and would love to meet you.

About EcoMatters: Based in Auckland in Aotearoa New Zealand, EcoMatters is an established charitable trust that was formed in 2002. We work with and for the community to deliver environmental initiatives in partnership with key entities like Auckland Council, the Ministry for the Environment, other not-for-profits and community groups. We do this by supporting the community with knowledge and tools to restore nature, reduce waste, ride and fix bikes, and live more sustainably. We also run workshops and provide opportunities for hands-on environmental action in Auckland.
