Job Description

Support our leading waste-minimisation project by helping sort materials for reuse or recycling to keep these items out of landfill. You'll get to know our fun and friendly zero waste team and become a waste guru in the process. Max 6 volunteers.

Wednesdays and Thursdays 10am-2pm (excluding public holidays).

Unit 9, 22 Moselle Ave, Henderson

Please remember the golden rule - stay home if you are sick.

We love our volunteers. If you fancy being part of an indispensable team of like-minded superheroes, get in touch! Our trusty tribe of volunteers come from all backgrounds and from all over the city (and the world!) and would love to meet you.

About EcoMatters: Based in Auckland in Aotearoa New Zealand, EcoMatters is an established charitable trust that was formed in 2002. We work with and for the community to deliver environmental initiatives in partnership with key entities like Auckland Council, the Ministry for the Environment, other not-for-profits and community groups. We do this by supporting the community with knowledge and tools to restore nature, reduce waste, ride and fix bikes, and live more sustainably. We also run workshops and provide opportunities for hands-on environmental action in Auckland.
