Re-Source is a Hawke's Bay charity that sits at the intersection of community need and resource recovery.
We rehome donated furniture, kitchenware, bedding and more to individuals, families and community services. By doing so, we ease the pressure on frontline agencies, reduce waste going to landfill and create inclusive volunteering opportunities.

Monday–Friday (6 hours/day)
We’re looking for a Van & Hub Team Member to join our small, friendly team. This is a practical role that combines driving, lifting, sorting, and general support at our busy Hub. You’ll play a hands-on part in the daily work of redistributing donated goods across the community.
Key responsibilities include:
Driving the Re-Source van to collect and deliver items.
Lifting, moving and safely handling furniture, homewares and other donations.
Assisting with sorting, organising and preparing goods at the Hub.
Supporting volunteers and working alongside a diverse range of people.
Keeping accurate records and following health & safety procedures.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
Holds a full, clean NZ driver’s licence.
Enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in doing it well.
Has a positive, team-oriented attitude and works respectfully with others.
Can follow systems and processes to keep things running smoothly.
Handles change and unpredictability well, staying calm and adaptable when plans shift.
Pays attention to detail and is accurate when completing forms and recording stock moving in and out.
Experience driving vans, working in logistics, warehousing or a charity environment is helpful but not essential – full training will be given.
A warm, supportive workplace where your work directly benefits the community.
A varied role where no two days are the same.
Opportunities to develop skills and contribute to a growing local charity.
