Hand Therapy New Zealand (HTNZ), formerly the New Zealand Association of Hand Therapists, is New Zealand's only professional association representing accredited hand therapists.
Our association was established in the 1980s to provide support for our members through education, professional development, networking and representation at regional and national levels.
Membership is currently around 430 including those in training and those who have achieved accreditation. To date the Treasurer role has been undertaken by a member elected to our Executive Committee. HTNZ is now seeking to recruit a volunteer with financial expertise to undertake this role in a voluntary capacity.
The time commitment would be around 5-6 hours per month, including attendance at the monthly Executive meeting which occurs on a Tuesday evening. All meeting activities can be done remotely via Zoom or Google Teams.
