About us
Dressed is the recycled clothing boutique operated by Dress for Success Wellington. We give pre-loved clothing a second life while helping fund our work supporting people to build confidence, develop their careers and move into employment.
We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Volunteer Retail Assistants to join our team at our Willeston Street boutique.
What you’ll be doing
Welcoming customers and providing friendly, helpful service.
Assisting customers with their shopping experience.
Sorting, steaming and displaying pre-loved clothing and accessories.
Keeping the boutique tidy, organised and looking its best.
Supporting sales and helping create a welcoming shopping environment.
Being part of a friendly team that makes a positive difference in our community.
When we need you
We’re specifically looking for volunteers who can commit to regular shifts on:
Friday afternoons
Saturdays
We ask for a commitment of at least one shift per week for a minimum of three months. Reliability and consistency are important to help us keep the boutique running smoothly.
What we’re looking for
You don’t need previous retail experience – just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in helping people. We’re looking for people who are dependable, enjoy working as part of a team, and are happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved.
A passion for sustainable fashion and pre-loved clothing is a bonus!
