Help tamariki and rangatahi build confidence, connection and wellbeing through the power of sport and the mana of the One NZ Warriors.

Warriors Community Foundation is the official charitable partner of the One NZ Warriors. We deliver programmes that connect, educate and inspire communities across Aotearoa.

We’re looking for a Community Activator who enjoys working with young people and can bring energy, care and organisation to every session. This is a full-time role with a mix of programme delivery, administration and community events.

What you’ll do

  • Spend approximately three days each week delivering programmes in schools.
  • Prepare activities, equipment and resources, and complete programme records and other administration.
  • Build positive relationships with students, schools, whānau and community partners.
  • Support community events and activations, including weekend work as required.
  • Travel to programme and event locations.

What you’ll bring

  • Confidence working with tamariki and rangatahi from a range of backgrounds.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
  • The ability to lead engaging activities and adapt to different groups.
  • Sound administration skills and attention to detail.
  • A full driver’s licence.
  • Availability to work weekends when programmes or events require it.

Experience in schools, community sport, youth work or programme delivery would be valuable. We’re equally interested in the attitude, reliability and care you bring to the role.
