Are you ready to be a superhero for a great cause?
Childhood heart conditions reach every community, and so do we. At Heart Kids NZ, we walk alongside whānau, providing crucial practical, emotional and social support so families never face the ongoing challenges of a heart journey alone. We provide support - free of charge - and receive no government funding. We are reliant on the generosity of kind-hearted supporters to fund our services, so that heart whānau are supported, connected, informed and hopeful for the future.
Join our Heroes for Heart Kids annual street appeal on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th September at collection sites across Aotearoa. For just 2 hours of your time, you can be a true heart hero by volunteering to "shake a bucket" or run a sausage sizzle or bake sale.
We need your help to make it a success!
What's Involved?
Volunteer a few hours to be a Superhero collector (dressing up, i.e. capes/masks, is optional) or assist on a BBQ or bake sale.
Help raise valuable funds for Heart Kids NZ at one of our collection locations.
Be a friendly face to help promote the work that we do.
We can't do it alone, please join us for our annual street appeal and be a hero for heart kids this September.

With no cure for a childhood heart condition, Heart Kids NZ is committed to providing lifelong, vital services at no cost to ensure all those impacted will feel supported, informed, educated, and connected.
Heart families can be faced with separation, isolation, stress, financial hardship, and loneliness during their journey. The future is uncertain, and these families need support.
Heart Kids NZ is the only national organisation in Aotearoa NZ dedicated to providing that support.
We help at every step of the journey; from diagnosis, through childhood, the teenage years and into adulthood. Our practical and emotional support is vital in helping individuals and families cope with the day-to-day challenges of living with a childhood heart condition.
