It seamlessly blends community playing fields with state-of-the-art sports facilities, offering an athletics track and field, artificial hockey pitches, rugby league fields, tennis courts, and the newly opened indoor netball facility The hub also features a central sports hub, boulevard, and two versatile grass community fields. The Ngā Puna Wai Trust is responsible for providing governance and strategic leadership, ensuring optimal utilisation of this remarkable facility and guiding its future planning and development.
Key Responsibilities: As a Board Member, you will contribute to the strategic vision of Ngā Puna Wai Sports Hub. Your insights will drive community engagement, promote sport and well-being, and guide the future growth of this world-class sports and recreation hub. Responsibilities include attending monthly board meetings, participating in strategic and sub-committee meetings, contributing to planning sessions, and being involved in special events.
