ACBC Financial Mentors are seeking a new volunteer Treasurer and a new volunteer committee member to help govern our incorporated society.
Our vision is to have a financially capable community where consumer rights protected.
Our mission to support and empower people to take control of their finances and to make the best decisions for themselves and their whānau whatever their financial situation may be.
We do this by providing free, confidential, independent, support and guidance for financial matters.
We are affiliated to FinCap and all of our Financial Mentors are certified.

The role can be tailored, but as a general rule, the Treasurer works closely with accounts and the General Manager and is responsible for overseeing the budget, financial reporting and tax / legal compliance.
Regular duties include.....
- Approve the weekly payments and salaries
- Review monthly accounts
- Prepare and review the budget
- Prepare year end accounts for audit
- Prepare accounts for the management meeting, so board can make informed decisions.
