Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure governance and operational policies remain current and compliant with legislative requirements.
  • Monitor organisational compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Attend and actively participate in Board meetings, the Annual General Meeting, and trustee onboarding activities.
  • Review Board papers and contribute to informed and constructive decision-making.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
  • Foster effective and respectful communication with Trustees, the Chief Executive, and staff.
  • Support Board and Chief Executive succession planning, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Participate in and/or chair Board subcommittees as required.
  • Commit to ongoing learning and professional development to support effective governance.
