Are you passionate about the environment and community? The Beautification Trust is seeking two new Trustees to join our Board and help provide strategic direction, oversight, and support to fulfil our mission of connecting and empowering communities to learn, love, and look after our environment.
We are looking for two people who each bring something different. One trustee who has deep knowledge of the sectors and issues we work in — environment, climate, zero waste, kai or community. And one trustee who brings professional governance skills that strengthen how we operate. If you bring both, even better. Read on to see where you fit.
About the Role
As a Trustee, you will work collaboratively with fellow Board members to ensure the Trust's strategies and activities align with its mission, values, and objectives. This is an unpaid voluntary position, requiring a commitment of approximately 4–6 hours per month, including attending Board meetings and occasional events. Board meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month.
