Rotorua Trust is looking for an exceptional Insights and Operations Lead to help shape decisions, strong operations, and meaningful community impact across Rotorua. You’ll bring sharp analysis, excellent writing skills, critical thinking, and the ability to move easily between strategy and detail. You’ll produce high-quality research and use compelling logic to support staff and governance to make impactful decisions for the Rotorua Community. Experience working in ways that reflect te ao Māori, community context, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi will be important.

Based in Rotorua, this permanent role offers flexibility around full-time or part-time hours and the chance to contribute to kaupapa that matters. Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyse complex issues, community needs and emerging opportunities.
  • Translate research, data and evidence into actionable insights that support high-quality decision making.
  • Prepare influential reports, briefing papers, business cases and recommendations for executive and governance audiences.
  • Contribute to strategy development, organisational planning, programme evaluation and impact measurement.
  • Coordinate governance processes and support effective board and committee decision making.
  • Support the Chief Executive to deliver strategic initiatives that create lasting community impact.
