The PSA Te Pūkenga Here Tikanga Mahi is the largest union in New Zealand, Aotearoa and is an innovative and dynamic organisation employing over 200 staff throughout New Zealand. We have more than 95,000 members working in central and local government, health and community services. The Equal Pay Organiser position has been established to work on this agenda including a key campaigning role, providing assistance with strategic organising, and assisting the wider union movement pay equity strategy. • Experience in organising
• Understanding of how unions work and their role
• Excellent communications skills
The PSA Te Pūkenga Here Tikanga Mahi is pro Te Tiriti O Waitangi as an organisation and the work we do. Knowledge of te reo and tikanga Māori will therefore be an advantage.

The salary range for this position is $92,695 to $115,466. New employees enter the range on a starting rate based upon previous relevant experience and commensurate with internal relativities. Progression to the top of the scale is by regular and automatic service steps.
