The role
This is a part-time contractor role - around 10 to 15 hours per week - designed to flex around your studies, other jobs and commitments. It's a great fit if you're a comms student in your final year, or a newer comms graduate looking for substantial portfolio work with a values-led organisation.
What you'll do
· Tell stories of impact: interview donors, community organisations and the people behind the grants, and turn what you hear into web articles, newsletters, social posts and short videos.
· Run our social channels: plan, create and schedule content, with a feel for what works on each platform.
· Design and produce: use InDesign, Adobe suite, or similar, to put together donor briefings, one-pagers, social tiles, event collateral, presentations and pitch decks for donor meetings, board updates and community events.
· Support events and campaigns: help with launches, donor gatherings, awards and seasonal campaigns from concept through to post-event content.
Send us a short note telling us why this role grabbed you and what you'd bring.
Include:
· Your CV or LinkedIn.
· A couple of pieces of work you're proud of, a piece of writing, a social post, an InDesign layout, a short video, whatever shows us how you think and create.
· One Auckland story you'd love to tell if you got this role.
