What is the mahi?

Do you have experience in campaigning? Are you ready to see a change in government?

ActionStation is looking for an Elections Campaigner to support our people-powered campaigning in the upcoming general election. 

This is a fixed term role from June 2026 - November 2026, for 30-40 hours per week (negotiable).

What are the core responsibilities?

  • Work with the Elections Manager and our wider team to drive our elections campaign across 2026. 

  • Focus on the details of the campaign including project planning, timelines, communications and budgets.

 

The key skills and strengths we are looking for: 

  • Proven hands-on experience with political organising / campaigning. Election experience is preferred but not essential

  • Clear understanding of what it means to honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tino rangatiratanga

  • Confident in detail-oriented tasks such as project planning, managing budgets and timelines

  • Confident in analysing and communicating data

  • Excellent at building and maintaining high trust relationships

$65,000-$77,000/year
