Job Description

The Role

As a Volunteer Grant Application Writer, you’ll help us turn our impact and vision into clear, compelling funding applications.

You might:

  • Help draft and edit grant applications
  • Turn notes, reports, conversations, and ideas into clear written answers
  • Help refine information about our impact, audience, and programmes
  • Learn how funding applications work in the humanitarian and not-for-profit space
  • Contribute ideas about how we tell our story to funders

You’ll work closely with a small, passionate team who care deeply about doing good work and supporting some of the world’s most vulnerable people.

 

Time commitment: 2–5 hours per week

Location: Fully remote & flexible, with the option to work out of Ice House Ventures

 

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Care about humanitarian relief
  • Enjoy writing or want to get better at it
  • Like turning complex ideas into clear stories
  • Are curious and happy to learn as you go
  • Can work independently and communicate clearly
  • Pay attention to detail

 

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Grant-writing experience
  • A fundraising background
