Are you a social media guru, great at creating engaging content? Do you have all the skills but need more experience putting them to use?
Speed Freaks is a charity helping people in the community recovering from addiction and mental health distress through running and walking.
We need help getting content onto social media that engages our Speed Freaks community and shows others how we can help them too. We’re looking for a volunteer to help coordinate our social media content, and help us make the most of our socials and what each platform offers.
Hours can be flexible depending on your availability, but we are looking for someone to create and share regular stories, posts, and reels on Facebook and Instagram.
Contact Speed Freaks communications and social media lead Jody O'Callaghan at jody@speedfreaks.org.nz, and tell us a bit about how you might be able to help.
The Speed Freaks Charitable Trust was established in 2021, by registered social worker Anna Christophorou. Our genesis group began in 2017 with the first run group at Odyssey House.
The Trust supports recovery from addiction and mental distress through running, walking and connection. Our programme grows community, health, wellbeing and inclusion, delivered by volunteers and paid staff.
