The Social Media Coordinator manages the organisation’s social media presence by scheduling and publishing prepared content across platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Using images and material created by the communications team, they ensure posts are published according to the agreed schedule and at optimal times to maximise engagement.
The role requires an understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and analytics to help increase reach and audience interaction. Excellent written English is essential, and familiarity with New Zealand culture and native biodiversity is highly desirable.
