At Arthritis New Zealand Mateponapona Aotearoa, we support over 750,000 people living with arthritis. We’re on the lookout for someone who is passionate, people centred, and ready to take the lead on some of our most important fundraising programmes.
This is a pivotal role at Arthritis NZ, and you’ll be responsible for ensuring the organisation achieves its long-term income and engagement goals.
What you’ll be doing:
Regular Giving — building a successful regular giving programme, including strategy, acquisition, retention and programme optimisation
Appeals & Direct Mail — planning, segmentation, supplier coordination, and analysis, and telling stories that inspire generosity and connection
Partnerships — building meaningful relationships with organisations that share our mission
Bequests — guiding supporters who want to leave a lasting legacy
Donor care — making sure every supporter feels valued, appreciated, and part of our community
Events & stewardship — creating heartfelt experiences that bring donors closer to our work
You’ll work closely with a friendly, supportive team who care deeply about making life better for people with arthritis.
Who you are:
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in individual giving, partnerships or related fundraising roles and proven experience delivering revenue growth and donor centric programmes.
You’re a relationship builder who also loves writing, planning and seeing the difference fundraising can make. You’re confident using a CRM (we use Dynamics), enjoy collaborating, and you’re comfortable running multiple projects at once.
