The Cambridge Clinic Charitable Trust is based in Christchurch and provides free 24/7 specialist medical and nursing care in Canterbury and the West Coast to anyone who has experienced sexual harm or non-fatal strangulation or suffocation in the context of Intimate Partner Violence.

We are funded through ACC, Police and Te Whatu Ora to provide SAATS (Sexual Abuse Assessment and Treatment), and NFSS (Non-fatal strangulation and suffocation) services to anyone who has experienced sexual harm across Canterbury and the West Coast. We provide both specialist forensic and non-forensic services and are active members of MEDSAC (Medical Sexual Assault Clinicians Aotearoa). Our Clinic is open during weekdays, and we operate a roster on call service out of hours.

As a trustee on the Board, you will play a crucial role in enabling the Clinic to further its vision and purpose to achieve equitable outcomes for Māori, Pacific peoples and underserved communities. We are actively looking to increase the diversity of our Board in this respect and welcome the different perspectives that this brings to strategic discussions and direction.
