This is an opportunity (approx. 15hrs pw on average – negotiable – at $60phr contract rates until Dec 2026) for a savvy, creative digital campaigner to shape and grow the Centre’s online awareness-raising, ensuring our voice supporting women’s rights, safety and empowerment is heard nationwide this election year.
Responsibilities include creating fresh, eye-catching, resonant and lively content (including creating/editing some video) that makes systems-change engaging to new audiences including rangatahi; collaborating on engagement & campaign strategies; managing posting schedules; helping to upskill Centre staff; and responding to our online communities and ensuring they feel heard and celebrated. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to intersectional feminism, trans rights and te Tiriti o Waitangi, an ability to collaborate, and an ability to be flexible/ occasionally responsive in a timely fashion to developing news stories. You will have experience in social media account management, content creation and analytics.
This is a hybrid contract position until December 2026, working in our lovely office at least 7 hours a week. We welcome applications from all diverse communities.
