MEANWHILE gallery is looking for an Operational Director.
We are seeking a passionate person who will be a part of the MEANWHILE committee and team and work alongside them to manage the logistics of operating an artist-run gallery.
The Operational Director will work alongside the MEANWHILE Curatorial director and MEANWHILE committee to develop, investigate and implement more sustainable systems and practices for MEANWHILE gallery.
MEANWHILE is excited to be celebrating its 10th year of operation, a milestone that is hard-won from years of dedicated volunteer labour. This role will be an opportunity for the gallery to look forward to the future and find new exciting opportunities. The operational director is vital to this happening, streamlining and making the administration for the gallery one with greater and more accessible and sustainable functionality.

Some of your responsibilities will be;
Oversight of gallery communications.
Management of studios and sitter roster.
Co-management of the gallery's social media, screen and website.
General gallery assistance.
Working with the MEANWHILE Curatorial Director and Committee to expand and explore MEANWHILE's future.
Taking the lead on identifying and developing applications for funding opportunities and developing long-term sustainable operational processes for MEANWHILE (to be proposed and approved by the committee)
