Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, you’ll provide vision, strategic leadership, and hands-on delivery to create a modern, integrated and member-centric digital environment for The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (the College). You’ll ensure our digital systems and platforms are fit-for-purpose across the organisation for our users –staff, teams and members.
You’ll lead the design and delivery of the College’s IT strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligned to our future direction, driving innovation, optimising digital investments, and enhancing organisational IT capability. By connecting systems, processes and people, you’ll create seamless experiences, improve responsiveness, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Supported by eight direct reports, you’ll inspire and empower your team, championing a delivery-focused, solutions-oriented, and forward-thinking approach to digital transformation. You’ll lead people on the journey, balancing innovation with practicality, security, and organisational priorities. You excel at turning business requirements into actionable roadmaps and solutions, supporting your team to deliver high-quality outcomes in a modern, member-focused digital environment.

Ko wai te whānau nei – Who is the Royal New Zealand College of GPs?
The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (the College) is the professional body and postgraduate educational provider for vocationally qualified specialist General Practitioners (GPs) and Rural Hospital Medicine Practitioners. They support a membership of 5,500 specialist GPs working in 1,000 general practices around the country. Its key aim is to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequities for all people in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The College’s 80 staff enjoy a light-filled Wellington CBD office with harbour views, wellness benefits, flexibility, and a positive team culture.
