Job Description

 About Us

Te Pou Whakawirinaki o Te Whanganui-a-tara Citizens Advice Wellington has been helping people across the region for over 50 years. We support anyone who needs a hand understanding their rights, navigating tricky life situations, or figuring out what support is available.

People reach out to us in all sorts of ways: walking into our branches, emailing, calling, or jumping onto live chat. Our service is completely free, confidential, and run by trained volunteers who care about making things better.

We’ve got five branches across Wellington: Central Wellington, Johnsonville, Karori, Kilbirnie, and Newtown.

About the Role

You’ll take the lead in creating our quarterly newsletter — something we send out to the organisations we partner with to keep them in the loop.

You’ll also help us keep our online spaces active and engaging with regular posts.

When there’s time you may also support our learning and development and engagement events.

Don’t worry — you won’t be doing this alone. You’ll have support from our staff, our Board, and the national team at CABNZ (Citizen Advice Bureau New Zealand)
