One Day School Kaiwhakahaere

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead our service within the Eastern Bay of Plenty. 

We're a one-day nature school, currently operating two days a week (term time) with a roster featuring 7 incredible team members. 

Our site is well prepared, our admin is organised - we just need a new visionary leader to take us into the next stage of our service. 

We're an award-winning service, the recipient of a number of funding grants, and well supported by a small community who value what we offer. We take pride in being inclusive, supportive, trauma-informed, nature-protecting and all round just living the kaupapa that a nature school offers!

Our team lead has taken a number of different options over the last few years. If you're a local with a passion for nurturing children, working our sessions is a paid position, and admin is under an hour a week. If you're not on the ground, our awesome team of educators can deliver, leaving you free to sort admin and run our service. 

Someone with vision and energy can expand the service, secure funding and continue to grow our impact for EBOP whanau. 

If you've always loved the idea of a nature school - this is your opportunity to make an impact! Everything is set up - from the  resources onsite, the agreement with landowners, staffing rosters, policies, emails, invoicing systems, social media, whanau group - we're just waiting for the right person to lead this incredible service!
