Job Description
Provide a breadth of communications, publishing, marketing and media support to the largest professional association for psychologists in Aotearoa New Zealand!
This is a part-time (20 hours per week), remote role, working with a small but well-connected team.
The Communications, Marketing and Publishing Coordinator has responsibility for:
- Communications-
- crafting and coordinating effective and efficient communications to members and non-members
- managing website updates and creating effective social media content
- Publications
- ensuring that the Society’s regular publications are engaging and reflect member needs and interests
- managing the publication and review of the Society’s books
- formatting, layout and copyediting on some publications
- Marketing
- developing marketing plans and material for the Society to engage students, members and potential members
- marketing the Society's events and professional development offerings
- Media and Advocacy
- craft media releases
- coordinate responses to media requests
- support the development of submissions and position statements
We are looking for someone who has
- Highly developed skills in written and oral communications across a range of formats
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience and/or training in communications, marketing, media
- Knowledge of publishing
- Formatting and copyediting skills
- Competent with technology
- Builds friendly and professional relationships with members and external stakeholders.
