Do you have excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with people? Wellington Hospitals Foundation is currently looking for new volunteers to join our retail Gift Shop team. Located in the atrium at Wellington Hospital, “Gifts & Gratitude” is a busy store providing convenience items and gifts for staff, visitors and patients.

PERSONAL QUALITIES:

·         A warm and caring nature

·         A friendly and outgoing manner

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Ability to work within a team and independently if required

·         Confident dealing with people of all ages and ethnicities

Previous experience in customer service or volunteering is desired but not essential. Volunteers are asked for a commitment of one shift per week (3 hours) and must be over 17 years old.

We are also looking for some casual volunteers who can be available to cover shifts when needed.
