We're inviting experienced union organisers or union team leaders to apply for an exciting and challenging role within the key leadership of our union as a Regional Organising Director (for the Lower Northern region, based in Hamilton).
Workers First is made up of over 32,000 union members across the industries of retail, finance, transport, logistics and manufacturing.
In this senior management role, you will be responsible for organising and educating the union's industrial staff, working on bargaining and campaigns, and helping our energetic and tranformative union to grow in number while pursuing workplace justice and fairness for our members across all industries.
This role will suit an experienced, determined and brave union official who thrives under pressure and enjoys fighting the good fight on behalf of workers in Aotearoa New Zealand.
