Job Description

We're looking for a chartered accountant willing to prepare the annual accounts of our small charitable trust, QCT.  QCT is the registered charitable trust that sits behind the period instrument ensemble, The Queen's Closet.  Although this is a volunteer role due to constrained resources, we're very happy to offer free tickets to performances and behind-the-scenes invitations to rehearsals, etc.

QCT's purpose is to support The Queen's Closet's annual programme of performances and other activities based on cutting-edge scholarship of historical instruments and performance practices of the 17th century and earlier.  This includes growing the early music and period instrument capability and capacity in Wellington, wider Aotearoa and Australasia through providing development, training and performance opportunities for people interested in learning scholarship-based historical performance.

We promote inclusive, tolerant and strong communities through the diversity of the ensemble's membership (a significant number of whom are in their teens and 20s, and which includes Māori and Rainbow musicians) and through the accessibility of our performances.
