InsideOUT Kōaro is a national youth charity seeking a Pacific Rainbow Competency Coordinator to lead the booking and delivery of training to Pasifika organisations and other eligible organisations in the Mental Health and Addictions sector. This is part of wider delivery of rainbow competency training to the mental health and addictions sector. You would be part of a small team within InsideOUT working in similar roles to coordinate and deliver training for tauiwi and kaupapa Māori services.

Hours in the contract will be on a casual contractor basis to suit the applicant for coordination and workshop co-delivery, within business hours and with a target of delivering 20 workshops (approximately two workshops per month) across up to 12 months to support the fulfilment of InsideOUT’s Te Whatu Ora contract.

Workshop co-delivery hours will be in addition to the 120 hours allocated for coordination time. This workshop co-delivery will be undertaken alongside Saviiey Nua, who developed the content and has both coordinated and delivered this training since the commencement of this contract in 2021.

If you are interested in facilitating workshops across InsideOUT’s other delivery streams too, more hours may be available. There may be an opportunity for the contract to be extended over the coming years.

We value whakawhanaungatanga and understand social change takes time, we support kaimahi to work in a way that feels genuine and culturally appropriate to them.

The successful applicant will have access to internal supervision and peer support with our team across Aotearoa.
