Cosy Homes Charitable Trust is seeking a Manager for Otago Housing Alliance.
We’re looking for someone to set up systems and keep the Trust running smoothly. You’ll work alongside the OHA Leader who you will provide some admin support to.You will be employed by and report directly to the Board of Trustees.
Providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the collaboration and organisation.
Engaging with community groups to further the objectives of OHA.
Distributing subsidies.
Funding applications and accountability.
Administrating the finances of the trust.
Support the development and delivery of OHA projects
Working with the OHA Leader.
6 Months Fixed Term, we hope to extend this to a permanent position.
0.7FTE @ $52,500
Annual leave: 4 weeks pa
Payment: Monthly or Fortnightly as agreed
Cosy Homes Charitable Trust has existed for around a decade delivering under the mission Transforming lives through healthier housing in Otago. Most work has been focused on improving the heating and insulation performance of homes.
Under the direction of our stakeholders the Trust is taking a wider view of housing under the vision “Otago is a place where homes and communities promote wellbeing.” and will take on the new name Otago Housing Alliance.
We will work with other stakeholders across the work areas of Research, Advocacy and Innovation considering housing supply, housing access and housing quality.
We will be creating an Advisory Group, hosting regular Hui, building knowledge identifying solutions and seeking collaborative ways of working to deliver change as well as continuing the distribution of heating and insulation subsidies.

Meeting papers compilation and circulation, invites, practicalities, venue, zoom, catering.
Payments and receipts.

Competent in the use of Xero and ThankYou Payroll
IT literate and able to set up and manage a variety of systems
Communication with organisations and the public
Understanding of nonprofits, funders and housing in Otago
