Digital Events & Media Contractor

Job Description

We’re looking for a proactive contractor to manage digital communications and online event workflow for Community Governance Aotearoa. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible environment, can work independently, and is ready to hit the ground running.

Event Coordination:

    • Manage Zoom registrations and participant communications for monthly workshops
    • Ensure smooth online event processes and timely updates are managed for our audience.
  • Digital Campaigns:

    • Draft and send email campaigns using Mailchimp.
    • Write and schedule engaging content for social media channels (Facebook, etc.).
    • Update website content using WordPress.
  • Customer Service:

    • Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries about courses and governance queries.
    • Provide excellent participant support before and after events.

Start Date: 1 February 2026

  • Term: 6 months
  • Hours: 40–50 per month/some set days/times
  • Rate: $38/hour
  • Location: Work from home
