It’s an exciting time for Diabetes New Zealand, as we are implementing a new sustainable fundraising model by building our current fundraising streams for the future expansion of the organisation to fulfil the 2023 – 2030 Strategic Plan | Maher Rautaki.
We're seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Grants Coordinator who will work closely in conjunction with the Funding and Philanthropy Manager on all aspects of grant funding to ensure that all aspects of grant management are in compliance with regulatory, funding, and policy requirements. This will include some of the following:
· grant budget preparations, annual grants plan, grant submissions and accountability reporting.
· maintaining a transparent, robust grants database tracking and recording grant applications.
· exploring new grant funders opportunities to reach annual grants targets.
· writing and collating supporting documents to submit successful grant applications.
· liaising with funders on application processes.
· developing, edit and submit accountability documentation to funders.
· Along with assisting the Finance team with all grant finance activity.

Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector is advantageous, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the role of a Grants Coordinator. Along with:

This is a part-time role of 15 hours per week, based in our National Office in Wellington, with flexibility on daily hours.
