Directly serve people in need Provide practical support to former refugees and asylum seekers.

We're looking for friendly people who can help provide a sense of connection to migrants, including former refugees and asylum seekers, who are part of this service. 

Refugee wellbeing support volunteers provide practical support to clients in our Refugee Trauma Recovery service. Our Refugee Trauma Recovery team provides mental health support to former refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants. Volunteers help clients to get to and from their appointments and create opportunities for social connection.

Your tasks

Your tasks will include: 

  • providing transport for clients travelling to and from appointments
  • supporting clients to attend community events
  • supporting clients to access local information
