As the Payroll Administrator, you’ll be responsible for processing payroll using i-Payroll software, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing. This role involves managing employee payroll data, addressing payroll inquiries, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
The role requires some flexibility in working hours to accommodate the fortnightly pay cycle. The successful candidate will need to be primarily available on Mondays and Tuesdays.
This position requires strong attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. It is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a supportive and mission-driven environment while ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Payroll Processing: Manage fortnightly payroll using i-Payroll software, ensuring accuracy and compliance and correct application of payroll deductions and benefits.
· Employee Data Management: Maintain payroll records, including hires, terminations, and pay changes.
· Payroll Reports: Generate and review payroll reports for management and regulatory compliance.
· Payroll Inquiries: Respond to employee payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies.
· Confidentiality: Handle payroll data securely and maintain strict confidentiality.
· System Updates & Compliance: Stay updated on i-Payroll system changes and ensure compliance, including assisting with payroll documentation for internal and external audits.
Qualification and Skills:
