ABOUT THIS ROLE
Habitat for Humanity Te Waipounamu is an Affiliate of Habitat for Humanity NZ, part of the global charity delivering affordable housing initiatives to communities.
We’re working on exciting changes to promote greater collaboration across the Canterbury, Otago and Southland regions.

We seek a passionate Area Manager to support our mission in Invercargill and the wider Southland region. 

The role is part time 0.5FTE (20 hours/week) fixed term over a 12 month period. 

Are you experienced in leading a community or non-profit organisation?
Are you familiar with housing and residential construction projects?
Do you believe everyone deserves a decent place to live?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing local planning, programmes and performance
  • Managing a local team including staff and volunteers
  • Supporting local committees and wider stakeholders
  • Providing pastoral care for our Partner-Families
