Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) Petone has been in Petone Community House for over 40 years. Our service is a valued and trusted part of the community.
The CAB service provides free, confidential advice about people’s rights and responsibilities and the services available to them. We help people with problems across any issue from tenancy to neighbourhood issues, from immigration to relationship issues, and many other things. We have 24 trained local volunteers who receive training and ongoing support to provide the service. Volunteers help people face to face, on the phone and online and we try to make the service as accessible to everyone as we can.
The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of CAB Petone. Their role is key to supporting the volunteers to provide the CAB service effectively and to providing the overall management of the bureau.
