Resume Writer Freelance Business Opportunity

Being a Resume Writer is a gift - sometimes you are literally penning someone's future direction. 

I've been building these beautiful documents over the last 7 years and I reckon I'm ready for some capable people to come in and pick up the artisan trade - possibly developing their own wee hustles or growing their own offerings (because it's not actually about protecting access to help and resources .. it's about developing a community of support and collaboration )

The roles are Voluntary initially whilst you learn the art of successful resume writing and then you share a decent whack of any contributions towards resume builds we garner from paid gigs, donations and koha clients in New Zealand (maybe even across the ditch). 

A resume is a gift so if you want to be a part of that service and maybe even coach people a little on what good looks like then please apply - 

What will you receive:

• You will learn the art of resume writing over about 7 live builds with feedback and coaching
• You will access ATS scanning tools to write these doco's for ATS idiocrasies'
• You will access templates and existing examples and work with some core designs in word.doc or Google.docs
• You will have the opportunity to phone or video interview people and candidly gather strengths narratives often handed over from a CareerAngel who triages the opportunity. 
• You will write plainly and clearly a document that compels employers to stop and think
• You will be given the opportunity to triage needs on the 0800 Jobs Club using a softphone console. 
• You will dial in occasionally with the team and coordinator and benefit from the team.

What do you need:

• Microsoft Office 365 Personal or Business and access to MS Word and Google Docs
• A stable internet connection and virus/malware protection on your machine
• A postpaid mobile phone connection 
• A Gmail Account and access to GoogleMeet and GoogleNote taker.
• An eye for grammar, syntax and context
• An empathetic lens on the world and patience for people
• An outlook where strengths feature in your narrative(s). 

People pay what they can afford so as soon as this is in place and functioning you will migrate from Volunteer in Training to a contingent per gig payment basis. Great if you have study or other hustles on the go!

A little bit of patience and good heart is required to pull this off but you might enjoy working with people ranging from C-Suite to how do I access Google Suite so be prepared for some empathetic moments. 

We're a pretty relaxed bunch not afraid to do things differently - we don't use the word disruption.  

I guess this is the alternative mylk in your coffee which takes a bit of getting used to but has all the benefits over time.
