We're looking for a creative video producer/editor to elevate our social media presence and help share our alternative events space story through engaging video content. You'll work with footage from our events and create original content that captures our unique atmosphere. We can either provide footage or you can shoot that yourself too.
Please note this a voluntary role for a non-profit in Wellington.
Time Commitment:
Initial creative direction meeting (30 mins-1 hour)
Ongoing support based on project needs,you will be working alongside the marketing team
What You'll Do:
Create engaging video content for Instagram to promote our space and events
Edit event footage into compelling reels
Develop consistent visual style that reflects our alternative space
Optimize video formats and lengths for different platforms and paid adverts
Would Be Cool:
Good portfolio of social media video work
Expertise in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
Understanding of platform-specific video requirements and trends
Experience with motion graphics and text overlays
Ability to tell compelling stories through video
Knowledge of social media metrics and optimization
