Recreate NZ is a youth-based organisation looking for an Our Harvest Programme Facilitator to join our team based in Ellerslie, Auckland.
Recreate NZ provides a wide range of services and programmes for youth with intellectual disabilities or neurodiversity.

This role comprises of facilitating a small group of 4-6 Recreate participants with volunteer support, one day per week on Thursdays during term time (8.30am-4.30pm), with an opportunity for additional days during the school holidays.
What is Our Harvest:
Our Harvest is a social enterprise managed by Recreate NZ's Moxie work experience programme. Moxie horticulture teams grow and harvest fresh produce from our gardens and orchards, which then is processed and made into delicious Our Harvest products by our product-making team.
The core responsibilities of this Our Harvest Programme Facilitator role are:
» To facilitate work skills learning for product-making trainees.
» To maintain appropriate kitchen procedures, processes and systems.
» To oversee the creation of Our Harvest chutneys, relishes, jams and sauces.
This role would suit someone with practical kitchen experience, recipe intuition, and a love of leading young people through product creation.
This role will ideally commence at the beginning of Term 1 2025 (mid-February), with a thorough training period prior.
