The role | Te tūnga
As a technical IT Business Analyst, you will report to the Senior Manager of Collections in Technology Services. Your role will involve providing business analysis services to technology projects and driving the development and innovation of our primary technical platform, Salesforce. You will be an integral part of an Agile delivery team, collaborating with product owners, delivery managers, developers, engineers, and test analysts. Regular engagement with business groups and end users will be essential to understand their needs and requirements.
You must have a solid grasp of current technologies and the ability to capture and translate business requirements into features and user stories. Additionally, you will document requirements for new digital technologies and ensure smooth technology rollouts by documenting current and future state processes and operating models. Your proactive, solution-focused approach will be key to delivering practical and effective technology solutions.
You will work collaboratively with business stakeholders to understand, develop, and document their business technology requirements. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary technology teams to turn these requirements into solutions that are consistent with the Stats NZ ICT architecture blueprint
