Te Aro Zero Waste Learning Coordinator
32 hours a week. Tuesday to Saturday.

We are seeking a Learning Coordinator for our Te Aro Zero Waste team. Te Aro Zero Waste is a partnership between Wellington City Council and Sustainability Trust, based at 2 Forresters Lane, Te Aro, Wellington. This role will be responsible for organising all events and workshops, managing venue hires and supporting the rest of the team in the day to day running of the centre. This role has been created to cover a period of leave for another member of our team.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who enthusiastic about zero waste and who is friendly, energetic and enjoys interacting with people and being in a busy space. You will be motivated by creating opportunities for our community to take climate change action, and to nurture their relationship with Te Taiao. You’ll be have a good level of physical fitness; this role involves being on your feet all day and frequent manual handling.

Sustainability Trust, Te Ohu Toitutanga, is a social enterprise operating in the Te Ūpoko o te Ika (wider Wellington), region.
