Volunteer Opportunity at Daffodils – Southern Cancer Society’s Preloved Clothing.
Daffodils is more than just a place to shop – it’s a beacon of hope and support for those affected by cancer. By volunteering with us, you’ll be helping to fund essential cancer research and support to those in the community affected by cancer. Every item sold and every hour donated brings us one step closer to a world free from cancer.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Retail Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store. Your tasks will include:
· Assisting customers with their purchases and providing excellent customer service
· Sorting and pricing donated clothing items
· Creating attractive store displays
· Maintaining a clean and organised store environment
· Supporting special events and promotions
Time commitment:
We are looking for people who can spare 4 hours a week on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday afternoon, ideally for at least 6 - 12 months.

· Friendly, outgoing, and eager to engage with our community
· Passionate about fashion and retail
· Reliable and committed to their volunteer shifts
· Supportive of the mission of the Cancer Society
· Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
· Over the age of 18 (or 16 with guardian permission)
