We're holding several sorting events on 22, 24, 29, and 31 October to help our teams process donated goods getting them ready for sale our Red Cross Shops. As a volunteer, you'll be sorting and preparing donated clothing for sale, as part of a team.
Funds raised in our shops go to supporting communities where the need is greatest in Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas. You'll also be helping give pre-loved clothing a new lease of life, extending the life of quality items and supporting sustainable shopping.
Your volunteer role will include:
Location : 12 Semple Street, Porirua City Centre, Porirua
Morning Shift: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
We need your help! Join us for our upcoming sorting event and make a difference in your community. There are eight shifts (3 hours each) available across four days.
Sign up today, and our team will be in touch with you once we receive your application. Together, we can make this event a success!
Thank you for your support!
We would love to have you join our team!
New Zealand Red Cross is part of the world's largest and oldest humanitarian organisation, working for the good of all people, independent of race, state, religion or politics. Our mission is to improve the lives of ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances, whether it's delivering a meal in a New Zealand town or providing medical care in Syria.
From providing education programmes, to helping in the hours after a natural disaster, to supporting those along the recovery journey, we support communities every step of the way by mobilising the power of humanity and enhancing resilience.
Here for good. Doing good things. Encouraging others to do good too.
